The Cortal Gran caught our attention from the first moment we saw it in pictures. We already went to make the visit with high expectations and the truth is that we did not let us down anything. The setting is lovely and has lots of beautiful corners that makes you able to customize your event and make your wedding unique. When we got married in November, we loved that I had a plan B as beautiful as plan A, as rain and cold were a very real possibility. In the end, time accompanied us and everything went perfectly. In addition to the spaces intended for the wedding, the house itself, where we change and where we spent the night, is very cozy and beautiful. And what about the team behind… Juan and Paula were in everything and helped us with all the doubts, accompanied us on all the visits and put things very easy for us. They also have a great gardening, cleaning and maintenance staff as everything was spotless at all times. When we talk about the Big Cutter, there’s one part that’s the team, and another part of the site. Paula and Juan make a perfect tandem! We highlight its professionalism and kindness, as well as its flexibility in everything. We’re convinced it wouldn’t have been the same without them. They helped us in everything.
As for the place, it enjoys great versatility with a thousand magical corners. In our case, we had planned a wedding completely on the outside (which is beautiful), but the inconvenience of rain at the last minute, forced us to change plans. Everything went perfectly. We are delighted, and the guests were amazed. The Cortal has alternatives for all circumstances and, above all, without losing the beauty of the place. We got married in Cortal Gran in July 2019, we never imagined being able to find such a beautiful place! Eight months from our wedding and with a bad experience for having decided to lose a pay and signal elsewhere, we found Cortal Gran. It was the end of September and with a little fear we went to visit that beautiful place that we had seen in so many photographs. When we arrived we realized the beauty of that place and its surroundings. But meeting their owners, Paula and Juan, was much better. His affection, his calm, the passion for his work, love for his house and all the history behind him, made that place a magical place. Cortal Gran ended up being part of our lives during all those months of preparation, in which we had Paula and Juan by our side, ready to help us at all times. The wedding day was the happiest day of our lives. Having our dearest loved ones gathered there, in that place we already felt like our home, is something we will never forget. We are infinitely happy and grateful that I went with them. I couldn’t let Juan, Paula and Pere thank how well they treated us and how loving they were. From the first visit you feel at home, everything are facilities and convey the tranquility that everything will be fine. They have plan B absolutely everything (even for rain) and their experience is noticeable at all. They helped me from the beginning, because I didn’t even know how to get started… You have the freedom to choose your suppliers, which they don’t have in many places, and it’s a very important thing to value. It is perfect for all kinds of weddings: small, medium, large… civil or religious weddings (it has 3 churches and 1 basilica very close). If I were to get married again, I’d choose Cortal Gran again and I recommend it.
It has everything very careful and beautiful 365 days a year (not only when there are weddings) which for me was another indicator that my wedding day would be just as perfect.
We had guests of all nationalities, as my husband is a foreigner, and to this day they continue to say that it is the best wedding\/banquet they have ever attended.

We can definitely say that May 26, 2018 has been the best day of our lives! Everything went perfectly! We did the civil ceremony in the woods and loved it! But there are a thousand more options to do it (in front of the greenhouse, in the garden, in the Balinese hut or in the gun yard), we continue with the snacks and the cocktail in the gun yard and the picapica in the garden (that if you are lucky like us and the sun comes out it is literally spectacular) and we who were 187 dined inside the porch and had the dessert buffet inside the archroom; we were very good but more in the summer you can dine out and it’s lovely too. We ended up with a super party with flares that opened the dance and a caravan of delicious pancakes (service offered by the big Cortal himself) accompanied us during the dance. In addition the bride and groom we were able to sleep right there and the guests offered a taxi service that brought them and left them at dawn to the accommodation that there are very very

I would recommend 200 to hold any kind of event or party in this awesome place. Our wedding was dreamy, and even though it rained (which can happen) the change from the magnificent garden to the large porch, so did the result, the atmosphere and the people were left feten. In addition, both Paula and Juan are lovely people, very close and above all very predisposed for everything, always helping in everything we ask, are a 10. I don’t put any more stars because you can’t. Cortal Gran was the best decision we made, without a doubt. We fell in love just to step on it; a fairytale entrance and a castle with beautiful garden and thousands of spaces to set up the perfect wedding. But best of all, was the treatment received by Paula and Juan, always ready to help us in everything: by phone, WhatsApp, mail, etc., at any time. And with how lost we were, the truth is that knowing that they were at the forefront of everything, relaxed us. They helped us in what they could and much more and the truth is that they were always, even on the day of the wedding, until the end. Really, it was all so easy with them that we’d pick them again a thousand times more. It was like being with a family and that, nowadays, counts of finding. Definitely the best decision we made. We married at cortal Gran on May 27, 2017. We had seen pictures of the wedding site of acquaintances of ours and liked it, but when we saw it in the first person we loved it. The place is beautiful, with many different locations to be able to officiate the ceremony and banquet. What completely convinced us was Juan and Paula, the owner and the daughter, who manage everything. They’re wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us in everything, they were totally flexible and predisposed so that the day of the wedding will come out perfect and you do not have to worry about anything. Cortal Gran was the first place we visited to celebrate our wedding. After many internet searches, and always finding some glue to everything we saw, was to find this paradise on the Costa Brava and feel a tingle. We contacted Juan, the owner, and in two days we stayed so we could approach and see the place in the first person. As soon as we walked in, we looked at each other and knew we were right! I remember saying to my partner, “I’m getting married here” From the first moment we had very good feelings with Juan and his daughter Paula, who always helped us make our day perfect. Being in Cortal Gran is like being at home, and Juan and Paula as if they were your family. During the year ahead we could go and visit the place whenever we wanted without any problem. We were advised in dozens of details, and whenever we had any doubt sores a phone call or a whatsapp with them, it gave us the peace of mind to know that everything was under control.<\/p>\n

We have nothing but good words. A little bit our heart has been imbued there, among its gardens, its flowers, its fields of apple shades. It’s a place that exudes magic, and it’s always going to be a part of us.<\/p>\n

We decided on Cortal Gran for several reasons, and we had it clear from the first moment. The castle and surroundings are spectacular, large, beautiful and has everything you need. We got married in April, so the weather could be good but it could also rain, tramuntana, cold, etc. so it was important that Plan B was just as perfect as Plan A. <\/p>\n

They have an indoor\/outdoor lounge, with a porch that can be opened and closed according to the weather (and at the last minute) and where all the guests can fit. We had a sunny day and we were able to celebrate the whole outdoor wedding, the ceremony in the field of flowery apple trees, the aperitif in the castle’s courtyard of arms and the food in the garden, with tables, chairs and sofas scattered throughout the beautiful garden. Juan and his daughter Paula make everything very easy, they offer you the maximum freedom to make your wedding as you want, they have all the necessary contacts for the organization but you can also make it to your measure as we did. Few things you need to make it the perfect place because Cortal Gran already has it all. We recommend it without a doubt, for the treatment and professionalism, for making us feel special, and for the security they conveyed at all times that everything would be all right. And so it was, a 10th wedding. We’re already thinking of any excuse to celebrate something else and do it there. As soon as we set foot in the Cortal we are absolutely enraped by this beautiful and spacious medieval style estate. Later the charm and predisposition of John, the owner, and his daughter Paula made us opt for this option. Last bull, we can say that the success was capital. All his recommendations were very accurate. They helped us choose, and succeed, with the catering, the flowers and even with the church to see that our main option failed. The fact that Plan B is not able to use the garden for the aperitif and \/ or disco, the tramuntana is a classic of the place, we have just decided.<\/p>\n
